Summary:.
Emily, qui a quitté la petite ville de Nelson Creek il y a quelques années pour sa carrière d’avocate, revient après la mort de sa grand-mère Nonna pour reprendre sa pâtisserie. Toujours célibataire, elle tombe sous le charme d’un certain Gérard, fraîchement arrivé en ville. Avec son assistante Chey, elle découvre le jour-même un mystérieux colis dans la pâtisserie. Il contient une petite maison en bois dotée de vingt-quatre portes qui cachent chacune un petit poème philosophique : c’est un calendrier de l’avent. Toute la ville se passionne alors pour cette histoire et tente de deviner qui peut être l’admirateur secret d’Emily.
